UPDATE FROM MARCH 2019 MEETING
Peter Longhurst, from Parkinson's NSW was our guest speaker this month. Peter has a long and colourful career path, that has eventually landed him at PNSW HQ, where he looks after bequests, and gives advice on "getting your affairs in order" by the signing of Wills, Power of Attorney, and Guardianship. His presentation had just the right mix of cheeky humour and practical information, and our members enjoyed it and have repeatedly told me how impressed they were with his easy and friendly manner. Thanks again Peter.
UPDATE FROM FEBRUARY 2019 MEETING
Our guest this meeting was Melinda from Fair Trading NSW. She gave us a presentation about "SCAMS" - rampant and frighteningly easy to be fooled by. She outlined how to recognise them, and had hints to handle them. We appreciate your visit to our Group, and thankyou for taking the time to educate us to the minefield of opportunists that are only happy to relieve us of our hard-earned funds.
UPDATE FROM JANUARY 2019 MEETING
Today's meeting was very informative. We welcomed Mirelle from PNSW HQ, who enlightened us with the inner workings of HQ. We appreciated the warm and friendly way Mirelle imparted all the latest in research, office procedures that support all the Groups in NSW, and enjoyed the relaxed two-way Q and A at the end of her presentation.
Many thanks Mirelle.
